Is there a fee for the initial consultation?
No. Our assessments are free of cost (and judgement) and can be conducted in person or via FaceTime. There is however, a 30-minute limit to the initial consultation.
There is no minimum size of scope we’ll take on, however, we do have a 3-hour minimum of service time. This is to ensure maximum value for you, and to the organizer driving to and from your location.
Rates vary depending on the size, scope, and number of people required for your project. An estimate of pricing and time to complete your work will be provided after the initial assessment.
Travel within 30 miles of the zip code 75077 is included within the cost of your project. If the distance exceeds 30 miles, there will be an add-on of 72 cents per mile to cover the cost of gasoline for our organizer.
Yes, and no. We need you to be home when we first get started, to provide direction and alignment with our onsite organizer. But once you’ve provided that direction, you can be as hands-on or hands-off as you desire. Some clients want to walk away and come back “wow-ed” by the final result. Others want to be involved in making key decisions about what stays, what goes, and where items are placed. Either approach is fine and we happily work to accommodate either preference.

The challenge with this question is defining what is and is not a “hoarder” environment. Typically, a home is considered in a hoarding condition when there is a persistent difficulty in discarding possessions, there is excessive acquisition, and there is clutter that impairs daily functioning in the home. Emotional roots often run deep with these items, and there is a fear of making decisions accompanied by an inability to let go. These situations require specialists who not only understand the psychology of hoarding, but the safety and hygiene aspects of it as well. Because we do not have those specialists on our team, we typically do not accept these types of projects.

If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out and send photos of your space. We can then let you know if we feel it is a scope we can safely take on. We offer no judgement of how or why a space may get overwhelmed; but we do want to ensure we have the right skills to manage your project safely.

Yes! This is one of our favorite things to do, because we want to help reduce the emotional and decision fatigue you feel when overwhelmed by too much stuff. Helping you figure out what really needs to stay versus what would be better donated, sold, or thrown away is a key part of the service we offer.

This one is entirely up to you. We can provide new products and storage solutions to make your space more functional and organized. We can recommend some favorite “go-to” products that we’ve used on other projects. Or, we can work with the items you already have. If we buy new items, there is no markup on any items we order, and we’ll discuss your style preference (simple, luxurious, plastic, glass, etc.) ahead of any ordering and in consideration of your budget and home vibe.

Absolutely! We understand that budgets, homes, styles, and taste are different with every homeowner we work with. During the initial assessment, we’ll find out what you’re looking to accomplish, and what guidelines we should consider in creating a project plan for you.
While we are not movers (we don’t load the trucks, move the furniture, or manage the moving company), we are here to provide moving support for you – both ahead of and after the move itself. We can help with pre-move sorting, organizing, purging, packing and labeling. And we can help when you arrive in your new home, by unpacking, labeling, organizing, and putting items away – to make your transition to your new home faster and easier.
